My first tent which I used for approximately five years was still in good condition except for the zipper. My second tent doesn't appear to be as stedy in the wind as the first; I think the design is a little different (wider at the top). I had a real problem getting the wrinkles to smooth out. I set it up at home for two weeks and it barely lost the wrinkles. Finally I took it to a softball game and the wrinkles seemed to smooth out somewhat. The zipper of my second one seems to be cranky in spots. having said all this I love my tent. It has provided me shelter in numerous softball games and I expect to enjoy it for at least four more years (my granddaughter is a junior in high school and has a commitment to play when she goes to college. Thank you.
The only downside I am experiencing as I write this, is that even with the ground pegs anchored, a 21 km/h wind really bends the pod on its side. Even with both sides open for the breeze to pass through. Even when I am inside, the pod really bends to one side. But at least I am protected from the elements and yes, it’s definitely warm inside of it! I kinda knew this would happen in a brisk breeze, so I am ok with it. Just letting potential customers know this will happen. Also getting a lot of inquiries on where to get one.
